MoMA, The Museum of Modern Art in New York City is the sponsor of this campaign to promote environmental artists. The MoMA is often identified as the most influential museum of modern art in the world. It was developed in 1929 by Abby Rockefeller and two of her friends, Lillie Bliss and Mary Sullivan, and was opened November 7, 1929. The museum jumped around locations due to lack of funding but eventually Rockefeller’s husband donated the land for the current site of the museum.

Rationale

This fictional personal project is sponsored by the Museum of Modern Art in New York City to create awareness of environmental movements.  The purpose of the promotional package is to shed some light on the artists trying to make a difference in the world, and hopefully inspire others to make small changes to help our environment as well. It will also serve its purpose in helping these artists receive more publicity so they can continue working on their grand projects and improving the world. The Museum of Modern Art wants to showcase exhibits from these artists so that people can come see what is being accomplished even if they cannot go to the work of art itself.
